Our Story

We are the proud owners of a purebred Shih Tzu named Hudson.  Unfortunately Hudson is allergic to many things. No matter what pet care products we have used, Hudson would constantly have allergic reactions. A friend of ours suggested we try a holistic approach. It seemed to remedy many of Hudson's problems. Because of the improvement to Hudson's health we have dedicated ourselves to creating a healthy, safe pet care line.

It was through countless hours of research that we learned most brands make claims of being natural or organic yet their labeled ingredients suggest otherwise. We also learned about the synthetic chemicals that make up most dog products and their potential health risks. Furthermore these synthesized ingredients were drying Hudson's skin causing his allergic reactions even though they claim to be gentle. We realized that there is a dire need in the pet care industry for a line of products that is superior to the existing products. It was at this point that Green Paws™ was established.

We have been working with master organic soap makers and green product manufactures in order to bring you the highest quality line of green pet care products. Our product line does not contain SLS, DEA, and PARABENS.  These ingredients are believed to be harmful unnecessary low quality filler chemicals.  We taken things one step farther to make our line "GREEN" by considering every detail possible from our formulas down to our packaging and labels.

Our product line is designed to be safe, effective, and healthy for our furry family members. Many other brands claim to be "Natural" or "Organic", however this does not make them green. Being a green company is about much more than writing the word "Green" on the product.

Being green is about removing unnecessary low quality filler chemicals, fragrances, and coloring agents from our products. These things are not only harmful to animals, humans, and the environment but they are wasteful as well. These fillers do not increase the products cleaning performance. Many fillers are suspected of being carcinogenic as well as causing other health and environmental hazards.

Green Paws™ formulas and ingredients are held to the highest standards. Our Dog Shampoo line is CERTIFIED ORGANIC by the Vermont Organic Farmers.  Our  Odor & Stain Eliminator is MADE FROM RENEWABLE RESOUCES, and Our Biodegradable Hard Surface Cleaner MEETS U.S.A. GREEN STANDARD. 

Our products are BOTTLED in 100% RECYCLABLE FOOD GRADE PETE PLASTIC with 100% COMPOSTABLE & BIODEGRABLE LABELS to reduce environmental impact during the manufacturing, storage, and recycling process.  The technology exists to produce high quality pet care products at an affordable price, and that is what Green Paws™ does!
